Sabahan based websites especially forums and community portals need to be linked together. Really. There’s a good reason behind it but not many can understand that. I’ve been trying to link as many forums with Sabahanblog.com but not many of them are interested or let’s just say, they are scared. Why?Lot’s of us nowadays think mainly on how to maintain the traffic of our own website. Yes, of course we need to have that kind of thinking but let’s turn the knob a little bit, shall we?

Here’s what most people fail to see why we need to link each other’s websites. I’ve been inviting most of the forums and community portals from day 1 and yes, I did have some responds to it. From what I’ve been getting, I can tell you one thing, not many of the super famous websites will exchange links with a rookie. The big flop ego is there, my friends. You can tell it on the dot.

This is the problem with most of us, Sabahan. We intend to think that when we exchanged links with another websites it will caused a downfall of traffic to our own site because lot’s of the so-called inhabitants who were originally from your own website will go and stay at the other one. Wrong!!! If you are having this kind of thinking, I say, you will cause your own downfall, itself. Here’s why.

Let’s say you have a website. Do you assume that everyone knows it? If there’s no give and take with others, your website won’t last long. I mean, not many people will come and stay. It gets boring when there’s no new things around. What good will it be by exchanging links? Now, when you exchange links with other websites, there will be a possibility of exchanging traffic within both websites and that will benefits each others, don’t you think so? New user will come and check out your stuff, information can be exchanged and most likely the number of people in your website will be increasing. Correct me if I’m wrong but this is the true colour of forumers/users that they will stay to where they are belong at the first place. So, there’s no worry about getting less support from your own. Did you ever have that kind of thinking before?

Here’s another one. To link with each others website is to circle the flow of traffic. You see, when you have a way to get the flow of traffic non stop, that will be much of an accomplishment. You don’t need to work double or triple just to promote your website but people will eventually come and see your stuff and if they satisfied with whatever services you are providing, they will stay.

There’s so many good reasons with this matter but I will stop blabbing here. Think about it, yourself, of what’s the cause of your interest to it. If you want to stay on your own, well, that’s fine with me but I can work together with you, anytime. It’s your own bet and nothing to do with my expansion. Do whatever satisfy you best.
