revolution of mind: political intelligence

im replying to jefferi’s comment in my previous entry.

i wonder the purpose and reason again for Jeffery using PKR this issue. i had been listening him talk and argue about the special autonomy rights and some other issues but had done nothing to act. maybe he can’t do anything about it. thou, once upon a time, Jeffery Kitingan has the power to make a changes to this states and he choose to keep silent and do nothing. now, he pretended to fight this issue again and i hope that the people will not again be fooled into this cheap shot scam.

seriously, i think the sabahan don’t even dare to fight for the rights of their states and let others like PKR and DAP to fight something they don’t belong. no matter they win or not, the people of the sabah state is the losing party because they don’t dare to lead and be example to the people state and stand for what they deserved and promised long time ago.

malayan boleh!
sabahan tidak boleh (

yup jefferi dude, you are right at 1 point of having PKR or DAP to fight for our right but then again, it’s a new revolution out there, not just to eliminate the one heavy weight corrupted ruling regime but also to give birth to a new political ideology which i think will be shaping our nation’s political landscape in the nearest future, and this will keep on revolutionize even further in the coming future not just to the western brothers but also here in sabah.

every new things come from a very slight spark, don’t you think? That little spark started by our western brothers and is now spreading to the entire nation, is enough to start a hell of flame of new ideas of how things should and shouldn’t be done and this i’m telling you, it will continue to be practice by generation of generations. It’s a new beginning and a very good one. A new era of political intelligence.

For a start, this political turmoil in malaysia as a whole will give birth to a group people, yes, it won’t be in a sum of millions but it’s enough to give rise to a new intellectual mindset of awareness not just in term of political understanding but all. Every little inch counts.

and with this, it will give birth to another frontier of ‘walking together side by side’ with others and hopefully it will lead us to a nation with no ‘Berlin wall’ of races, religion differences, languages, cultures and so fort.

i don’t really bother if you are a muslim and im a christian. if by religion you cannot celebrate Christmas then welcome to my house fellow friends of muslims, Buddhist, hindus and all, i will feed you with foods and drinks. let’s celebrate it together. after all, we are one, just a little difference in understanding of teachings i say, more or less, it’s the same basic teaching, to become a very good person. so get done with it, it’s your responsibility.

we cannot turn back the time to resurrect the dead and we should stop with the ‘if’ possibilities. Sabah has long died before i was even born. our past leaders think nothing much to develop this state but more into making their own piggy banks full and the disease was carried down from generation to generation til this very day. it’s good that someone like Dr. Jeffry K. still mentioning some old school issues. of course everyone knows it’s nothing more than just a political act but if you take it in to a different level of understanding then i should say, thanks for his acts that many of us are now woken up from that deep sleep which has and always holding you back to for a very long time. it’s time to relive the dusty ideology of a better Sabah, in whatever means to you.

like i said before, revolution of mind don’t start as easy as 123 or ABC. it need a spark. it’s good that PKR and DAP are the main forces to ‘fight’ for our sabahan right for this time being. im not saying that they should be the main players to govern this state or anything like that, but to make it simple, they are the main forces to give rise to a revolution and kicking butt to a sum of people in this state to be more aware and alert to future circumstances.

We can always give birth to another political party here in sabah, be it  ABC party, OKPU, SBP, etc. but can they do better than the previous ones? We already have more than enough political party here, do we really need another hero? more importantly, can they light up a spark of revolution? Revolution of mind, that is.

thus, i won’t say that sabah will be the losing party even if the DAP or PKR are the winning party to govern Malaysia but it’s the silent revolution of mind within every sabahan that we should look at the most. it’s an important and precious peice of gain. that’s what i like about this political sicknesses, it’s an education, i must say. So sabahan, this is a learning process, digest it to the fullest and now, run wild with this new found joy. We can reshape this beautiful state as it once before, a pearl.

rise, fall down, and rise again.

  1. i don’t really have argument with PKR and DAP using this issue for the political ammo. i glad that the PKR and DAP got their revolution and won some states in Malaya. i envy to the point that the malaya people really cooperate and push for the change and they did that, but so sad knowing sabah and sarawak still a strong hold of BN that full with political lies and corruption.

the “CHANGE” that inspired from the us presidential candidate barack obama influenced a bit to the outcome of the latest election result. when few states in malaya changed, sabah and sarawak not change at all. i believe the PR failed to change the sabah and sarawak not mainly caused by the money politic but the split between sabah and sarawak PKR and DAP representative. i saw few parliament district votes splits evenly between the PKR and DAP and BN won by small majority. if PKR and DAP not contested at the same parliament district, the PR can won few seats for sabah and sarawak parliament seats.

why not the sabah and sarawak PKR and DAP working together and distribute their representative one by one againts BN? at least they has a bigger MPs in parliament. even sabah and sarawak contribute big portion of the parliament seat, they’re still look down by the malaya MP especially from UMNO. what gave them rights to insult the sabah and sarawak MPs when big portion of MPs come from sabah and sarawak. it is an insult to the sabah and sarawak MPs when the UMNO MPs demand a sign letter of loyalty “akujanji” only from sabah and sarawak MPs not to defect to PR.

i personally felt that sabah and sarawak MPs scared to fights for the well care of their states. they let the ultra UMNO flock them like a lamb and one day used as a sacrifices if necessary. sabah BN state government are a proxy of UMNO based rulling and has no power to decide the policy in sabah. to add more to the pain, i find it so ridiculous to see two malayan people anwar ibrahim and shubrey debated about something that they don’t really belong as quote “as their (malay) heritage” about the oil. the sabah and sarawak oil was control by the federal government and coincidentally control by the ultra UMNO or BN.

the problem was, i find it disturbing to listen a wrong people fighting for a right issue. wrong people such as anwar ibrahim and jeffery kitingan those have the chance to make changes but didn’t do anything until they were brought down. the same thing with our former prime minster mahathir mohamad. i find it hard to believe the 360 degree changes view he written in his blog. do you think he will write what he wrote if the government run in his favor? he wrote against the badawi government because badawi no longer protect his cronies and him. with out his the protection from badawi, mahathir change leaves and distracted people looking at his bad previous thing he done by strongly attacking the badawi leadership and others.

this trend of change leaves and inconsistent among the ex-BN leader is a sickness and shouldn’t allowed to be happen. i looking forward to see more new and fresh non ex-BN leader emerge into the sabah and sarawak political scene that can change the mentality of the people and fight for the rights and well care of the states. it is maybe a dream that will never come true but it is a good dream for us to dream about. ;)
