revolution of mind: political intelligence pt. 2

i was replying a comment in my previous entry wrote by jeffrie. again. thanks. it was a very long written reply so i end up posting it as a new entry. read my previous entry entitle revolution of mind: political intelligence for further info.

yup, i agreed to the comment written by jeffrie, though, i have some feedbacks i would like to write about. here goes.

there’s another point of why bn having a big win over sabah and sarawak. bare in mind that before the GE non of us ever thought that 5 states in the peninsular will be taken over by the PR and i must say, during that period of time, not many of us sabahan really have that desire to push back the umno regime out of sabahan political scene like the western brothers desperately did in the peninsular. don’t you agree?

what i mean is, name me a party here in sabah that really have what it takes to chop down that bn flag?

sabahan had fought a war against the big bn regime once and failed. remember why Dr.Jeffry was sentence to 20 yrs of prison? among them maybe were my dad, mom, relatives and all, and i strongly think it was supported by your family too but history was written so clear that they, along together with our past leaders, were totally outdone by the bn war machine and the outcome of that incident is an undeveloped piece of land called sabah, land below the wind.

what most of us sabahans want is a developed state which offers more working vacancies, education, medical support and so fort. you can name them as many as you like because we do lack a lot and perhaps, we don’t even have some of the good things offered in some places like k.l, j.b, penang, or even labuan. do u think that by having the bn regime to govern this state can us achieve such attention? infact, they are the one holding the budgetary to choose to or not to channel cash flow to develop places.

of course we want a change but like i said before, the fire that anwar ibrahim started in the peninsular had never really reach this borneo island.

as a second man in the Sabah PKR camp, Dr, Jeffry was luckily to escape death before the GE as he was involved in a car accident before that. he was in a critical stage to start with. Admit this, there’s no anwar ibrahim’s alike here to start that sort of revolution, thus, not many of us dare to take that path twice but later on, when we saw the possibilities of winning, it was already too late. it vanished in thin air.

here’s another possibility why bn can easily take control of this state. tell me, did you or did you not see the same faces that ‘proclaim’ to be the betting horses to run this state? for most of sabahan, those faces are among the best, if not the best, this state can offer them. like i said, if there’s an anwar ibrahim’s alike born sabahan, do you think this scenario will dramatically change? yes, maybe yet we can’t really say it’s for sure.

but worry not. sabah is now one of the key players of a better nation thanks for the GE. we are one of the highlights not because we have more bn-jumping-sinking-ship agenda, but as a whole, we are breeding a new political intelligence regarding on future benefits. the people’s power is somehow planted and rapidly growing in the minds of young generations. it will spread cancerously from generation to generations. like what i’ve wrote before in my previous entry, this is an education. we learn.

sabah will produce leaders of young and energetic with more additional good features, and for the old ones… your time is running out. history will be changed by erasing most of their failures. we will have our own anwar ibrahim born sabahan. so, don’t loosen that grip of hope, not yet.

i don’t want to write crap regarding on our sick political thingy with all the vote buying or phantom voters or anything like that because it’s already written in ‘our’ own history book. we’ll remember it and it will be passed down. politic is just another legal way of selling lies, just so you know. it sucks.

but it’s good to talk about better future and such. it attracts positive things to happen and hopefully, it gives us a better politician born sabahan in the nearest future. it might just be you, jeff. who knows.
