happy malaysia day

please accept my deepest apologize for my late wish regarding on this. i was about to blog it early in the morning but i had another matter to settle with. anyway, HAPPY MALAYSIA DAY. Sept 16, the new beginning of a new era, i must say. An era of a new dawn of malaysia; a new hope and prosperity.

Malaysia day is everywhere for some reason. Just like the ordinary yet with a more lively patriotic value. Everywhere you go, people will speak out of it, taking it into another level of understanding; politically and historically, a long gone piece of history, a formation of men of a greater nation called Malaysia. it has been how long? 45 years?… just to be aware that we are all but malaysians?

better late than never, they say. it’s nice to see some changes. you and i are in an equal context, men of the same independent nation. so why should we have a huge gap of differences? there is no need of denial of races, religions, skin colours, cultures, etc. we are all but 1, malaysian, a mixture of islam, christian, hindu, buddha, malay, chinese, indian, sabahan, sarawakian, etc. We are one upon all.

wouldn’t it be nice to have a chinese who can speak indian and malay, or a sabahan who can speak the tounge of a chinese or an indian? would you mind to have that tounge to be able to speak a lot of different languages? i wouldn’t mind if you ask me. we are special people, a rare breed kind of people. we have a lot more to learn from each others, then why shouldn’t us? i have chinese and also indian friends while having countless malay numbers. it’s pretty cool, don’t you think so?

i hope the new coming era will be an era of understanding each other and working together side by side peacefully and harmony. May this year’s Malaysia Day brings you good reasons to be a Malaysian.
